On site and closeout

Every job has an On site screen built for the phone: directions, call or text the site contact, access notes, check in and out, photos, issues, and the closeout checklist.

On the day

  1. Open the job and tap Start on-site (or open it from the dashboard or calendar).
  2. Check in when you arrive. Time and location are recorded when your phone allows it.
  3. Take Before photos.
  4. Do the install. Report issue records a problem with photos.
  5. Take After photos, record the temperature and any leftovers.
  6. Check out when you leave.

Everything on this screen works offline and syncs later.

The closeout checklist

The checklist comes from the company's requirements (or your defaults): how many before and after photos, the pre-inspection, the installation approval (signed, or with a reason), and how long you have to close out. See Closeout forms and signing.

Send the closeout

Press Complete & send closeout. The job moves to Installed and the app builds the completion packet PDF: a cover page, the pre-inspection, the installation approval, the weather record, then before, after and issue photos.

If the checklist isn't met you can still send it with a typed reason, which is printed in the packet.

Office and owner can Email closeout packet to the company, or use Download completion packet.

After closeout

  • Photos are locked.
  • The site contact is hidden from your team (the print company still sees it).
  • Reopen closeout (with a reason) unlocks the job. The next send builds a new packet and keeps the old one.

Deadlines

Closeout and invoice deadlines start at the first check-out. Badges turn amber when time is short and red when overdue, and disappear once closeout is sent or the invoice is issued.
